| Welcome Welcome to the manual for iSample 2.0 for iPhone from Way Out Ware, Inc. iSample 2.0 for iPhone is a powerful yet easy to use pocket Sampler/Looper/Beat Sequencer.
iSample 2.0 has several parts that are controlled by the touch interface. First it contains 6 independent sampler engines. These engines are capable of playing samples, recording samples up to 30 seconds long, trimming start and end points, and playing the trimmed samples at quantized lengths. In addition to the sampler engines, there is a pattern sequencer that has 12 separate pattern buffers, and a song manager that allows you to chain your patterns together to create a song. There is also a tempo control that allows you to control the rate that the pattern sequences run at, and also controls the quantized lengths that the samples are set to.
iSample also includes a mini WIFI web server that allows you to download samples from the device and also to upload your own samples in either .wav, .aif, or .caf format to any of the 6 sampler engines. These samples will be truncated to 30 seconds if they are longer.
In this manual I will describe each of the sections of iSample 2.0 starting with the Control bar at the top of the screen and proceeding through each of the screens that iSample provides to control it's operation.
